Description
Completed works on a Marlow Hunter Legend 40 sailing motor yacht at Northney Marina, Hayling Island. My work as a marine electrician focused on fault-finding and system reliability within the vessel’s 12v ABYC electrical standard.

The work included diagnosing a battery charging fault, traced to the existing Automatic Charging Relay (ACR). This was resolved through the installation of a new ACR, along with the fitment of a new service battery to ensure balanced charging and capacity.

On the navigation side, I carried out fault-finding on the AIS system, isolating signal loss to a defective connection in the AIS splitter. A new AIS patch lead was installed, restoring reliable transmission and reception.

All work was completed to ABYC standards.
