Many electrical issues onboard are traced back to shortcomings in the battery and charging system. A well-designed battery and charging system lies at the centre of any electrical system onboard a boat.
I am a certified Marine Lithium Technician and, as a Marine Electrician, supply and install lithium battery and charging systems, ensuring they are correctly integrated, safe and dependable. I can also test the capacity of your lithium battery to check that it is performing as expected.
I can design battery and charging systems from scratch, taking into account the electrical demands and intended usage of the vessel to ensure the total battery capacity is correctly matched to the requirements onboard.
Batteries can be charged from a number of different sources, including alternators, solar, wind and generators. I ensure these systems work together effectively, providing reliable charging and making the most of the available energy sources onboard.
