I carried out an inspection of the yacht’s bonding and anode systems after the owner noticed unusual corrosion on the keel and propeller anodes.
This involved resistance testing, tracing the bonding network, and checking for any stray currents. I refitted the keel anode studs to ensure a solid electrical connection to the keel, and reconnected the main hull anode to the P-bracket, which had not been receiving proper protection.
The work restored full galvanic protection across the underwater metals.
